Photos in a listing show the best side of a car. Before you commit, we go and see it, and we tell you plainly what we find.
What we check
- That the car matches the listing and the registration certificate: chassis number, first registration, engine and equipment
- Bodywork, paint thickness and signs of accident repair
- Underbody and brake lines, because Swiss roads are salted in winter
- Tyres, brakes, lights and glass
- Interior, electronics and warning lights
- Service book and invoices compared with the mileage
- Test drive, when the seller allows it
What you receive
Photos, a short video and our written notes, so you can decide with the facts in front of you. For high-value, classic or electric cars we can arrange a check by a specialist garage or an official brand dealer, at extra cost.
And if the car is not right?
Then you decide. We can negotiate the price, look at another car, or stop before anything is bought.
